Eugenia Berger

 

GALLUP — Funeral Mass for Eugenia Helen Berger, 98, will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 28, at Little Sister’s of the Poor, Gallup. The Very Rev. James Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup. A Rosary will be 10 a.m., March 28, at Little Sisters of the Poor.
Berger died March 22, 2011, in Gallup. She was born Nov. 5, 1912, in Thoreau.

Survivors include her sons, Eugen Berger, Edward Berger, Laurence Berger, all of Gallup, Robert Berger of Ogden, Utah; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Berger was preceded in death by her husband, August Berger; parents, Eugene Schuster, Amelia Schuster.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Berger, Mike Stauder, Taylor Berger, Chris Berger, Mark Berger, Christopher Berger.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Little Sister’s of the Poor, 1 p.m., following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Paul Esquibel Jr.

ALBUQUERQUE — Services for Paul Mark Esquibel Jr., 22, will be 10 a.m., March 29, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. Paul Jones will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michaels.

Esquibel died March 22, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born July 6, 1988, in Albuquerque, into the Mexican People Clan for the Spanish People Clan.

Esquibel attended CNM in Albuquerque. His hobbies included drawing. He liked to listen to music, loved animals, especially his pit-bulls and piranha fish. He liked to skate board and cut hair. Esquibel enjoyed traveling and watching the Denver Broncos play and spending time with his daughters.

Survivors include his daughter, Cruzita Esquibel of Los Lunas; parents, Paul M. Esquibel Sr. of Albuquerque, Cynthia M. Miles-Esquibel of Albuquerque; brothers, Kalin I. Miles, Mario D. Esquibel, both of Albuquerque; sister, Monica L. Esquibel of Albuquerque; grandparents, Eugene and Ida Tom of St. Michaels, Julius and Kathy Miles of Fort Defiance.

Esquibel was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, General Miles, Mary Ann Chee, Dora Miles; grandparents, Enedina Maes, Max Maes.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Miles, Lucas Miles, Anthony Pedrego, Frank Munoz, Christopher Maes, Carlos Arguello.

The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Michaels Chapter, following services.

Bessie Lee

SMITH LAKE — Funeral services are pending for Bessie Lee, 79.

Lee died March 24, 2011, in Gallup. She was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Smith Lake.

A gathering will be 6 p.m., March 28, at Smith Lake Chapter House.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
